3.1 Required Information

4. Our Response Process

4.1 Initial Review

Upon receiving a DMCA notice, we will:

  1. Review the notice for completeness and validity
  2. Verify the identity of the complainant
  3. Locate the allegedly infringing content
  4. Document the complaint for our records

4.2 Content Removal

If the notice is valid, we will:

  • Remove or disable access to the infringing content
  • Notify the content uploader (if applicable)
  • Provide information about the counter-notification process
  • Document the action taken

4.3 Notification

We will send a confirmation email to the complainant once action has been taken, including details of the content removed and any relevant case numbers for tracking purposes.

5. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was wrongfully removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification under Section 512(g) of the DMCA.

5.1 Counter-Notification Requirements

Your Counter-Notification Must Include:

  1. Your contact information (name, address, phone, email)
  2. Identification of the material that was removed
  3. The location where the material appeared before removal
  4. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  5. A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

5.2 Counter-Notification Process

  1. Submit your counter-notification to support@craftedmods.com
  2. We will review the counter-notification for completeness
  3. We will forward a copy to the original complainant within 10 business days
  4. If no court action is filed within 14 business days, we may restore the content

6. Repeat Infringer Policy

 CraftedMods has adopted a policy of terminating user accounts that are repeat copyright infringers in appropriate circumstances.

Account Actions for Repeat Infringers:

  • First violation: Warning and content removal
  • Second violation: Temporary account suspension
  • Third violation: Permanent account termination

7. False Claims and Misrepresentation

Section 512(f) of the DMCA provides that anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages.
